The final activity of each Unit is the Milestones to Achievement. By reviewing the Study Skills at the bottom of the Milestones California Teacher’s Edition pages, you help prepare your students for the end-of-unit assessment.

This end-of-unit assessment tool allows your students, and you, to evaluate their standing in regard to mastery of the Unit’s content prior to administering the formal summative Unit exam found in the Milestones California Assessment Book, on the Milestones California Teacher’s Resource CD-ROM, or in the California MilestonesTracker Online Assessment and Remediation System.

Milestones to Achievement simulates formal assessment and is a measure of students’ ability to produce the kind of tasks they will encounter in formal summative assessments.
