Reading Fluency follows. This section consists of a carefully constructed activity to aid students with their reading fluency.

Fluent reading improves student comprehension.

This skill is systematically taught and practiced throughout the Milestones program.

Here, students are taught to adjust their reading rate to scan to locate information.

Examples of some other Reading Fluency activities in Milestones Introductory California Student Edition include: reading aloud with expression, repeated reading, and pacing.
