Students using Milestones Introductory California Student Edition need ample opportunities to practice and re-use what they have been learning.

It builds their confidence and their mastery.

The Welcome Unit Chapters end with a Project. The Project type is indicated in the sub-heading.

The Project steps are listed. In some chapters, these projects are designed for partner work or small group work.

Here, students will conduct a survey.

Students will be speaking to a variety of peers and teachers to gather information for their survey.

Dialog balloons provide a model of the language to be used.

Finally, the students work in groups to share their results and to create a group chart.
