The Scope and Sequence provides a snapshot of the overall design of the Milestones program, allowing you to see where and when specific material is presented and practiced.

This section presents an overview of the research upon which Milestones is based, as well as instructional routines that provide concrete suggestions for teaching reading, reading fluency, vocabulary, grammar, phonemic awareness and phonics, spelling, writing, and listening and speaking are presented.

Information and instructional routines for differentiated instruction, addressing the needs of special needs students, assessment, classroom management, and using technology are also included here.
