Nine Master Progress Check tests student achievement at regular intervals through the curriculum.

Complete teacher scripts are provided for the tests.

These determine student proficiency and readiness to move to the next lesson.

The Placement Assessment determines eligibility and placement point in the intervention component.

There are two entry points in the Heinle Phonics and Intervention Kit, at Lesson 1 or at lesson 39, based on the students’ scores.

Upon completion of the Lessons, students are re-tested to determine proficiency and readiness to move out of the program.
