School-Home Connection Newsletters encourage family involvement. There is a newsletter for each unit. At the end of each Unit, you will be reminded to use this valuable resource.

For teachers working with Spanish-speaking students, a list of Cognates/False Cognates is very beneficial. The list is located at the end of the Staff Development Handbook.

The School-Home Connection Newsletters and the list of English-Spanish Cognates/False Cognates are located in the Milestones California Teacher’s Resource Book and on the Milestones California Teacher’s Resource CD-ROM.

Experienced teachers will pick up some new strategies; new teachers will find these sections practical.
