The final section of the Assessment Practice consists of a Writing On Demand task.

The purpose is two-fold. It allows the student to apply what has been learned in the Unit in a concrete and explicit way .

Secondly, its “timed” nature mimics the type of writing which is often required in other academic contexts th eir descriptive paragraph.

Your students will become more and more confident and adept with the format and the process of writing “on demand.”
