A variety of Reading Fluency activities are included in both the Milestones California Student Edition and i n the Milestones California Teacher’s Edition.

These include techniques such as Rapid Word Recognition, Scanning, Chunking, Echo Reading, Rate Build Up, Adjusting Reading Rate, and others.

Additional techniques, as well as additional fluency activities are indicated in the Instructional Routines in the Staff Development Handbook in the Milestones California Teacher’s Edition .
