In the Media Workshop, students tie the Unit theme to the media which surrounds them in their daily lives.

In the various Units, they may explore websites, advertisements, cartoons, visual arts, newspaper or magazine articles, or film.

The task is defined in the sub-head. It is stepped out into manageable sub-tasks, leading to the culminating product.

The tasks are realistic, linguistically appropriate and relate back to their own lives.
