Daniel Raven-Ellison

Daniel Raven-Ellison is a National Geographic Emerging Explorer, guerrilla geographer, radical educator and a parent. Daniel uses creative exploration and innovative interventions to help children to explore, play and learn outdoors. He is a founder of Mission:Explore, a series of children's books and a website of challenges that encourage children to be more curious. He is also an editor for Mission Animal Rescue, a series of National Geographic Kids books that help young people to conserve some of the world's most charismatic and yet endangered species. An explorer, Daniel has walked across some of the world's largest cities, focussing on the shape of urban social landscapes. Most recently he walked the height of Mount Everest by only using buildings. Formerly a secondary geographer teacher, he is now campaigning to turn the whole of London into the world's first National Park City.

Ellen Froustis

Ellen Froustis is an Adjunct Psychology Professor at Hellenic American College. She also teaches IB Psychology at ACS Athens where she also has been a School Counselor and Leadership & Ethics teacher. Over the last 12 years Ms. Froustis has been engaged in initiatives aimed at the holistic development of youth in the areas of social and emotional development, college and career exploration, academic skills support, psycho-educational testing and support for learning challenges. Ms Froustis also is trained and certified by the U.S. based National School Reform Faculty to provide mentoring, support and professional development to teachers and schools. She conducts workshops in the local schools addressing such issues as bullying, conflict resolution, diversity training, classroom management and school climate improvement. She has extensive volunteer experiences and service learning projects in the local and rural communities with students, has published articles, and has served on several charity and Non-Profit Boards. Her passion for youth leadership development and civic engagement has inspired the non-profit organization: EIMAI: Center for Emerging Young Leaders that she founded last year. Ellen also is the Regional Director for Greece for the PeaceJam organization, bringing together students with Nobel Laureates of Peace to develop citizen leaders for a sustainable world. Ms. Froustis currently is an Executive Board member of the Greek Adlerian Society where she also provides counseling services.

Hugh Dellar

Hugh is a London-based teacher and teacher trainer as well as the co-author of two five-level General English series, Outcomes and Innovations, both published by National Geographic Learning. In addition, he is the co-founder of Lexical Lab, which provides bespoke course design, teacher education and development, and consultancy, as well as an online space for discussion of practice at www.lexicallab.com
