New MindTap Module "GETTING STARTED WITH GENERATIVE AI AND ETHICS." Students learn about generative AI and how to use it ethically and responsibly.

Updated to reflect Microsoft 365 features including Accessibility Checker (present in all applications except for Access). Microsoft Teams coverage is now expanded to include three digital modules available in MindTap, authored by Corinne Hoisington.

New features for Excel include: XLOOKUP (included in Office 2021 and also in 365), LET function, Dynamic Arrays, Spilling, Accessibility Checker, updated Draw tab, Co-authoring to collaborate with colleagues on workbooks, Threaded Comments for discussions about data and Notes to annotate data.

New features for PowerPoint include: ability for the user to display comments in contextual view or in the Comments pane, updated search feature, ability for the user to record and save a presentation including digital inking, Speaker Coach feature which uses AI to improve presentation skills, giving feedback on use of sensitive and filler words, pitch, and pace.

New features for Access include: Completely updated projects use gapped Start and Solution files to ensure students use new, authentic files for each project from module to module, Module projects alternate between two sets of scenarios for expanded relevance and practicality.

New features for Word include: new focus mode, updated collaboration experience, along with Microsoft's expanded search feature and voice options.
