Concepts & Connections: Integrated Mathematics I, II, and III, a part of the Math & YOU series, is a seamless and comprehensive curriculum that sparks curiosity and encourages students to make instructional connections, enhancing their deeper-level understanding of mathematics. Every chapter in Concepts & Connections launches with an Everyday Exploration Video, where students are introduced to a professional’s STEM research. The career focus is carried throughout the chapter. Every chapter includes "The Big Idea of the Chapter", simple investigative activities that encourage students to analyze a real-world data context in relation to the chapter content. Exercises with real-world contexts are featured throughout the program to help connect math concepts students are learning to the world around them. The Connecting Big Ideas feature, which occurs four times per course, also challenges students’ understanding of the data and how it relates to their life. Students will connect their prior knowledge to the new concepts they are learning during each Investigate. Students will have opportunities to practice conceptual thinking, which is embedded in every lesson.  Concepts & Connections ensures that students develop a strong conceptual understanding of mathematics, dig deeper in their learning, and make connections across content, creating learners who have a solid foundation in mathematics.
