Mathematical Excursions

“Mathematical Excursions,” 5th Edition, with WebAssign develops students’ mathematical and analytical thinking skills for wherever their own excursions may lead. The authors prepare students for success with study strategies and an introduction to problem solving at the start and then help them discover key mathematical concepts and why they matter. Offering a wide range of topics that allows instructor creativity and flexibility, this new edition focuses on what students need to know for their lives and careers along with what will engage them. New coverage helps students make informed decisions and includes modern applications that students can relate to, including social media, streaming services, wind energy and hybrid vehicles. Exercise sets reinforce learning and range from drill and practice to interesting challenges such as Extensions and active learning Excursion exercises.
