You will use the Placement Test, found in the Milestones Assessment Book and on the Texas Teacher's Resource CD-ROM, to determine the appropriate starting point for your students-Milestones Texas Introductory, Book A, Book B or Book C.

Milestones Introductory Texas Student Edition provides dual entry points for students at the newcomer level.

The first entry point is a Welcome Unit (Chapters A - G), the second is the core of the book, Units 1 - 7.

The Welcome Unit provides a unique opportunity for teachers to focus on the needs of newcomer students or struggling readers needing work with basic literacy skills.

Units 1 - 7 follow the Welcome Unit. This portion of the program prepares students for Milestones Texas Edition Book A.
