One new feature introduced in the After Reading 2 section is the Spelling and Writing Conventions box.

This box signals that the student will find specific activities in the Milestones Florida Workbook with FCAT Practice and on the Independent Practice CD-ROM, to match these topics.

The topics are selected based on their introduction and treatment in the readings and reinforced in the Milestones Florida Teacher’s Edition teaching notes.
