You will use the Placement Test, found in the Assessment Book and on the Florida Teacher's Resource CD-ROM, to determine the appropriate starting point for your students-Milestones Introductory, Book A, Book B, or Book C.

Milestones Introductory provides dual entry points for students at the newcomer level.The first is the Welcome Unit (Chapters A - G). The second begins at Unit 1.

The Welcome Unit provides a unique opportunity for teachers to focus on the needs of newcomer students or struggling readers needing work with basic literacy skills.

Units 1 - 7 follow the Welcome Unit.

This portion of the program prepares students for Milestones Florida Edition Book A.
