In the back of each Student Edition is a Glossary of the vocabulary taught in Milestones.

It includes the Academic Vocabulary words, the Key Vocabulary words and the literary terms from the Text Genre charts.

Students should be made aware of the user-friendly skills index and its usefulness in locating where specific elements are taught.
