At the end of Chapter 2 in each Unit, you will find a rich and extensive opportunity for your students to Apply & Extend what they have learned in the Unit and thus far in the program.

In Student Edition A, Apply & Extend for Unit 1 begins on page 56.

Apply & Extend can be viewed as a performance or outcomes-based activity.

The students can demonstrate what they have learned with concrete assignments where new language skills are applied in new settings.
