A variety of Reading Fluency activities are included in Milestones, both in the Student Edition and in the Teacher's Edition.

These include techniques such as Rapid Word Recognition, Scanning, Chunking, Echo Reading, Rate Build Up, Adjusting Reading Rate, and others.

Additional techniques, as well as additional fluency activities are indicated in the Instructional Routines in the Staff Development Handbook in the Teacher's Edition.
