Let's now look at one of the Chapters in the Welcome Unit, Chapter F.

If you are not working in the Welcome Unit, you may skip to the section below which describes Units 1 - 7 of Milestones Introductory.

All of the Chapters A through G follow exactly the same format.

Each Welcome Unit Chapter opens with a two-page spread which presents the Chapter Topic and initial vocabulary in a highly visual manner.

The Objectives listed in this section are a useful advance-organizer for students.

They reflect the skills found in state and national standards which will be learned. You will want to put these on the board, as a road map to the Chapter.

The Teacher's Edition provides more instructions on how to present these in class.
